Comme des Garçons x Nike to Release Nike Air Foamposite One

The Japanese fashion label, Comme des Garçons, announced they are collaborating with Nike on a new Nike Air Foamposite One shoe. During Paris fashion week they announced this would be a part of their fall/winter 2021 collection. This is not CDG’s first collaboration with Nike. In the past CDG has done remixes of the Air Max 95s, Dunk Lows, Air Force 1s among many others.
Behind the Shoe
The new Nike Air Foamposite One will come in two colors, black and white. The shoe itself has a rare design featuring a three-dimensional ripple pattern, a Foamposite shell that has a leather overlay, along with matching tone shoelaces and a rubber out-sole. Additionally, on the heel of the shoe, you will find the CDG branding to complete the design.
Nike Foams often fluctuate in their popularity based on design. The Galaxy Foams were one of the biggest drops Nike Foams ever had. However through this collaboration, the shoe may have some of its attention returned.
When and Where to Find Them
The shoe is set to be released on November 5 in the United States. This drop comes just in time for the holidays and to gift someone. The retail price has tag has been set at $520 USD. On November 5 you will be able to find these shoes at CDG stores as well as Dover Street Market stores. If you are unable to reach a store, the shoe will also be available at the Dover Street Market online store. In addition, Dover Street Market and CDG stores in Japan will release their pairs on November 26.
