ANNE HATHAWAY REAL LIFE IN THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA
It’s one of the magical moments of New York Fashion Week. Anne Hathaway recreated her character, ‘Andrea Sachs’ whom she played in the film, The Devil Wears Prada in 2006. Anne Hathaway attended Michael Kors’ spring/summer 2023 show. Surprisingly, her exquisite outfit, hairstyle, and makeup were literally Andrea Sachs in the movie, which evoked a nostalgic moment of The Devil Wears Prada.
Spotted in a monochromatic look with blunt bangs, she was wearing a dark brown crocodile jacket. Matching a skirt of brown crocodile and brown turtleneck, she completed a dark chic look as if Andrea Sachs just came out of the movie.
Andrea Sachs is one of the iconic characters in her films. When it comes to the story of the movie, Andrea is a college graduate landing a job at prestigious Runway magazine as a personal assistant to editor Miranda Priestly portrayed by Meryl Streep.
The film depicts Andrea’s journey of non-stop working in the fashion industry to fulfill her responsibilities towards her demanding boss, Miranda. In the meantime, the life associated with her new job ruins her personal relationship. She ends up resigning and moving forward.
At the end of the movie, the scene where she is wearing a brown jacket with full bangs recalls a real-life version of her character in The Devil Wears Prada when Anne attended in NYFW a few days ago. Moreover, it’s stunning to see her sitting front row next to Anna Wintour, Vogue’s editor-in-chief. It’s Andrea’s revival!
Her style has been evolving and arguably going through a fashion renaissance since she switched stylists from Law Roach to Erin Walsh. Thanks to her stylist, Erin Walsh, Anne’s new style is shining on every occasion, enjoying a more playful style than before.
