Nordstrom launches a black business cocktail party in honor of the black business month. Accompanying Nordstrom during the event was an influencer, Tiffany Battle, and executive director, LaToya Williams -Belfort
Therefore, the audience in attendance was looking stunning showcasing their business faces and merchandise in some cases. The event was hosted in Nordstrom’s most recently opened location in New York, NY.
The event acts as a spark for black-owned business owners. Not only due to business month but, networking with peers to create something special. The microphone was quickly passed around at the appropriate times to individuals who wanted to add their insight towards helping the black community. The women’s store is located within Central Park Tower with 320,000 square feet of the facility to attract consumers. Consumers and fans love this shopping center. The lights and runways are strategically placed to guide consumers toward the products displayed. However, the men’s store is smaller with only 47,000 square feet of space. There are six Nordstrom flagship stores with four being in the United States of America.

Nordstrom started their fashion journey in Seattle, selling shoes in 1901. Yet, the company has eight stores in two states, by 1958. However, these stores only sold shoes, most popular appeal in present day was not stablished until Best’s Apparel of Seattle in 1963.
