Co-Founder of the Internet: Vint Cerf

The Internet is a place that can be used in so many ways, in so many aspects. Thanks to “The Father of the Internet,” Vint Cerf, we are given the honor and privilege to communicate with one another on a day to day basis. Cerf was dedicated to increase internet accessibility throughout the world. He was the Co-Designer of the TCC-IP PROTOCOLS. In 1987, President Clinton presented Cerf  and his colleague, Robert E. Kahn, with a US National Medal of Technology. Later Cerf spoke on his award, “this is a special night… it also celebrates the importance and the power of technology.”
