In 2020, Beyonce partnered with the NAACP to announce a COVID-19 housing relief fund for families affected by the coronavirus pandemic. On January 7, the BeyGOOD Foundation made a post stating that applications for eligibility are open now.
Families experiencing hardships should visit NAACP.org, where grants for housing assistance are being given out.
Statement from the application: “The NAACP is committed to helping ensure African Americans maintain their wealth and financial security during this unprecedented time of COVID-19. We are honored to partner with BeyGOOD to provide financial support to families or individuals who are facing eviction and/or foreclosure. The BeyGOOD Impact Fund will provide one hundred grants up to $5,000 each to families who are delinquent in their home mortgage or rental payments.”
It states that the deadline for the application process ends Friday, January, 15 at 12:05AM EST.
“Beyonce established BeyGOOD in 2013 as a way to ‘inspire people to be kind, to be charitable and to #BeyGood to themselves, to others, to the community, and to our world.'” DailyMail.com
