Taylor Swift Announces Second Fearless Single

Taylor Swift dropped her second single on March 25 from her upcoming re-release of her second album Fearless. The single titled “You All Over Me (From The Vault) is one of the previously unreleased songs on the album. The single was written for Swift’s original 2008 album, but was not released. It will be one of six unreleased songs on the album,

“You All Over Me (From The Vault) will feature Maren Morris as back-up vocals; a recent addition. Taylor Swift’s re-recording of Fearless was a result of Swift not getting ownership of her original 6 albums. She plans to re-record all of those albums, starting with Fearless, her sophomore album.

“One thing I’ve been loving about these From The Vault songs is that they’ve never been heard, so I can experiment, play, and even include some of my favorite artists. I’m really excited to have @Marenmorris singing background vocals on this song!!” wrote Swift on Twitter.

Swift’s first single from this album was “Love Story (Taylor’s Version) that dropped on February 11. The whole album will be released on April 9. This comes only four months since the release of her last album, Evermore, which came out in December 2020. Swift also recently won her third album of the year Grammy at the 2020 Grammys. At The Grammys, she performed a medley of three songs from her album Folklore, which was released five months before Evermore.

With two albums already under her belt for the past year, it is unknown when she will release her next re-recording. Considering she did not start in order, it’s also unclear what album she will re-record next. The other albums Swift does not have ownership of are: Taylor Swift, Speak Now, 1989, Red, and Reputation. She has owner ship of  Lover, Folklore, and Evermore.
