Steve Aoki Presents: Dim Mak Collection SS18:

Hands down this had to be the greatest show, I have seen in a while. Ironic who would have thought the best menswear showing would be after the noted Mensweerk in New York.

This collection is all about American street wear. This collection is for risk taker; fashion is all about if you want to really want to wear something or not.

Steve Aoki presents “Paradise Found” in his sixth collection for DIM MAK, a street influenced menswear brand. In response to today’s global climate, it seems all aspects of life are perverted with socio-political turmoil: terrorism, war mongering, racism, and sexism.

You have to believe in your clothes. Fashion is about express and how do we define our self. This collection is about owning a disaster. Steve Aoki  coined this collection  Paradise Found. Why?  We have to find our own  paradise.

“What we all desire is reprieve from the negativity infiltrating the air we breathe. ‘Paradise Found’ is a utopian thought” Aoki says. The SS18 Collection is inspired by the cultural evolution of today. Dim Mak gives its take on the chaos of today’s global society and the power of unification

The DIM MAK COLLECTION is inspired by indie rock sounds, skate culture and fellow risk takers. Dim Mak Collection is for the uninhibited who runs on attitude and adrenaline. Not for the faint hearted, the Dim Mak Collection crew exhibits the style that reflects their purpose, beliefs and work ethic. Inspired by Aoki’s mantra of “Do It Yourself…By Any Means Necessary”, the collection embodies his energetic style, non-conformity and rebelliousness in a positive way. This is streetwear for those who aren’t afraid to clear their own path.
