Helmed by the talented chef, artist, and entrepreneur, David Burke, Woodpecker b y David Burke opened his new wood- fired American restaurant and bar in June 2018.
Seating a total of 110 guests, the restaurant features a private dining room and a large Chefs/communal table in the front of the kitchen, along with an impressive 35 foot bar.
Seamlessly fusing art, people and great food, guests can enjoy a variety of savory wood roasted meats, fish, vegetables, and pizzas, cooked in two large wood burning ovens.
The kitchen is overseen by David Burke veteran Carmine Di Giovanni, who is playful yet serious cooking style is rooted in technique and experience he has honed at some of New York City’s top kitchens.
As well David a seasoned professional, with confidence and a genuine personality that endears him to culinary professionals and amateur foodies alike.
