The ZAYN X VERSUS SS17 Capsule Collection
Versace collaborated with British singer and songwriter, Zayn Malik starring in Versus Versace Spring/Summer 2017 campaign. The capsule collection was available online on June 19th and in store, June 28th. In this new campaign, model, Adwoa Aboah makes a star appearance as well. The campaign highlights pieces such as distressed denim, leather jackets and printed sweatshirts. Malik explains “It’s about the attitude of the street—a mix of sports, functionality, and customization.” The brand describe the clothing as “the perfect uniform for the city streets,” one that has a “functional and athletic mood.”The collection price ranges from $175 to $1,550. In Dontella Versace’s latest statement, she mentioned “When I see this collection, I see Zayn. His attitude, his energy, and his individuality are in every single piece. I am so proud of what we have achieved together. The campaign defines everything I love about the new generation today.”
