Victoria Beckham Designs T-Shirt for Red Nose Day

It’s been 18 years since the Spice Girls first split up in 2000. Who can forget the big time girl group with the hit single Wannabe. As t-shirt fashion has it, girl band and boy band shirts are all the craze. Victoria Beckham, former Spice Girls member, and fashion girl boss has teamed up with Red Nose Day USA to bring the Spice Girls back on a t-shirt. The annual campaign is to end child poverty and Beckham is on board.

The limited-edition t-shirts will retail for $35, and all the proceeds will go directly to Red Nose Day to change the lives of children in need around some of the poorest communities around the world. The t-shirt features an iconic photo of the Spice Girls with a twist—they all have red noses. Giving Rudolph a run for his money.

“I’ve seen firsthand how Red Nose Day USA has touched the lives of millions of children — it’s been a true inspiration for me. I was honored to design this shirt and promote the message of Girl Power to young women and children around the world. Every t-shirt sold helps this incredible cause continue to ensure all children receive the love, care, and support they need,” Beckham said.

Beckham has supported Red Nose Day for over two decades since their launch in the UK where they first started out. Red Nose Day was created by Oscar Nominated and Emmy Award-winning writer-director Richard Curtis. It’s about making it fun to come together and raise money to help children in need. Red Nose Day takes place on May 24, 2018.

Along with designing the t-shirt to raise money, Beckham has also visited Kenya to see firsthand the programs that support newborns and their mothers along with empowering young girls.
