Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra get engaged after only dating for a couple of months, a source told People. It only seemed as of recent that everyone was speculating that they were dating. Here is a timeline of the newly engaged couples interaction with each other.
May 1, 2017: Nick and Priyanka attend The Met Gala Together.
At this time Nick and Priyanka were just friends and had decided to attend The Met Gala red carpet together. They were both wearing Ralph Lauren ensembles. Chopra’s look was a tench coat-inspired gown with a 20ft train that completely took over the museum stairway.

A little bit after her Met Gala appearance with Nick, Chopra appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Jimmy Kimmel during her segment asked was she was dating Jonas at the time. Priyanka dismissed the speculation. “We were both wearing Ralph Lauren and we decided to go together. It was fun.” She also stated that “We were at the same table. I mean, we know each other so we were just like, ‘Hey let’s go together,’ and I was like, ‘Okay, let’s go together.’ And it just ended up working out.”
Memorial Day Weekend 2018: Nick and Priyanka Are Spotted Various Places With Each Other.
After their Met Gala appearance, the romance speculation began again. On Friday, May 25, they were seen attending a Beauty and the Beast Live performance together at the Hollywood Bowl, Us Weekly reports. Then the next day fans noticed the couple watching an L.A. Dodgers game.

That following Monday, their was even more speculation about them being a couple after the pair was seen hanging out together with friends for Memorial Day. The pictures with them together on the boat were deleted.
May 31, 2018: Nick and Priyanka Were On An Intimate Dinner Date.
Fans once again spotted them having dinner together in West Hollywood.
According to a witness “They were very affectionate with each other and seemed to not care who saw,” they told People. “Priyanka ran her hands through his hair at one point and they were laughing and even dancing to the music.”
June 2018: They were flirting on Social Media.
The “now newly engaged couple” went on a commenting spree, nearly confirming their relationship on social media. Nick kicked it off by writing “that smile ❤” on a photo of Priyanka laughing with her friends while at a burger spot.
June 22, 2018: Nick Jonas lets everyone know on Instagram he’s dating Priyanka.
July 18, 2018 (Supposed Date): They get engaged!
Reportedly Nick Jonas asked for Priyanka’s hand in marriage in London, a source told People. Though there’s no confirmation on the exact date of the proposal, the insider said it celebrated the actress’ birthday, which is on July 18. Jonas even closed out a whole Tiffany’s store to choose the engagement ring, according to the source.
