Feng Chen Wang S/S 2019

I started my second day of fashion week attending the Feng Chen Wang S/S 2019 collection  and it was nothing but amazing. Experiencing it for the first time I was honestly left in awe with each piece that was shown. The S/S 2019 collection had a street wear look to it, but also very high fashion. Her reason for starting this S/S 2019 collection was to explore human connection and not to look outward, but inward. Wang decided to add a new element to her shows which were suits and shirts. I honestly love the idea of it personally. The trench coats in this season’s collection were also a new addition to her brand as well.

During the show Feng Chen Wang also showed how unique she could make biker jackets look.

The Spring/Summer 2019 also was the introduction of the Feng Chen Wang women collection. This is the female version of her collection with men. Now, Wang’s inspiration for this collection was diagrams mapping the increase and decrease in temperature throughout the human body as we experience different emotions. You could see from the collection that it consisted of neutral tones, black, white and grey, crystal-‐inspired shades of hot pink and cool blue flow throughout the collection, symbolizing love and hate, happiness and sadness, day and night, summer and winter. This was by far one of my favorite shows this season and I look forward to seeing her next collection.
