Deveaux F/W 2017

NYFW Men’s kicked off last week and I had the opportunity to attend Deveaux‘s fall collection which was showcased over at Cadillac House on Wednesday, Feb. 1st. The color story was an earthy, neutral-toned palette and each look was very modern and sophisticated.

The collection seems to have based its color and texture inspiration on Iceland and its black sand beaches, which were shown through video clips on a backdrop behind the models as they made their way across the stage during the show.

I thought this collection was gorgeous, and that each piece was draped very well with simple minimalistic designs featured throughout the entire line. Among each look, I was seeing a lot of cashmere, mohair, and chenille knit fabrics featured commonly. The looks that stood out most to me overall from this collection was the tan shearling ranch coat and the icelandic fair isle sweater.
