Chromat SS19 Runway Show
This season, Chromat brought us SATURATION for their Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The collection was inspired by wet t-shirts. Their goal was to reclaim the experience of hiding a giant T-shirt at a pool party. Basically in a nutshell it was in comparison to someone being embarrassed in their swimwear. Chromat wants everyone to be comfortable in their own skin and to be able to accept who they are despite what society thinks. This Spring/Summer collection wants all women to wear their clothing proudly.
This summer, the Chromat brand extended their size up to 3X and they have more sizes coming soon. To celebrate this, they launched the #chromatpoolrules campaign with some inspring #chromatbabe guards who set out to change the pool rules. They say no diving? How about no intolerance. Chromat is really setting a standard and changing our views on how fashion should be. You don’t have to be a size 0 to be in fashion or to walk into a show. This brand is continuing to break barriers and support the everyday woman.
Chromat’s message has always been to design empowering garments for all bodies. This Spring/Summer 2019 collection celebrates the inspiring woman, femmes, and non-binary #chromatbabes who inspire everyone to be bold and unapologetic.
