Now we all know how history breaking this photoshoot was with Beyonce. Not only was she given creative control of the shoot by Anna Wintour, but Beyonce also chose 23 year old black photographer Tyler Mitchell to shoot it. For the first time in Vogue’s 126 history, a black photographer shot the cover issue.
Beyonce felt that she was opening doors for young black artist with this powerful move. It’s something that is not only amazing, but will possibly make other celebrities want to follow in her footsteps. Below are some of the images from her amazing shoot with Tyler Mitchell.
