AIR MNYFW SS19
On July 10th at SPACE7 A_I_R took over the roof and Manhattan skyline for its second show during Men’s Fashion Week in New York City. For Air’s SS19 collection, they featured the brands signature prints. Which is a ‘Cali’ style.’ signature look. Notable guests included designer Richie Rich.
Spring/Summer 2019 A_I_R collection wanted Artist Sharon Lee to carve certain animals and objects that would have different meanings to the brand (tigers, bats, flowers, suns). From there, what would be created is a visceral palette of color, silhouette and style that references the past, harkens to the future, and sits squarely in the here and now.
