Adrian Alicea SS17
Adrian Alicea closed the show at Style Fashion Week this Spring/ Summer 2017 season. It was one of the most highly anticipated shows of the night. I was at a loss of words after watching the show it was just crazy fun! The theme was world domination it was just so BDSM inspired, grungey, and sexy. The concept of world domination is perfect because fetish is so popular in fashion now. Now is the time as a designer to pull out the big sexy guns.
I saw a lot of my design style in Adrian’s. He had a lot of of straps, leather, and cutouts. His models were really confident and bold. Some of the models were carrying floggers and chains. As a model wearing his clothes you need a lot of attitude and power, they definitely had that. The silhouettes were really interesting and powerful. As far as the colors he had a variety of yellows, black, reds, prints, and purples. Great job Adrian Alicea!
