You Need To Try Lush’s “New” Hot Oil Treatment

You ever see a woman with great hair in the midst of a blizzard and wonder “Queen, how did you get your hair to look like that and please share.” Or does that only happen to me? With cold air comes a dry, itchy scalp. Nothing worse than flakes in your hair. Between wearing hats and blow-drying, your hair doesn’t catch a break in the winter. Adding a weekly mask or hot oil treatment can keep your hair looking luscious despite the icy weather.

Finding the right treatment for your hair can be fun. Who doesn’t love to have weekly spa days? For me, my moment of finding a great hair mask seemed like fate. It was a misty day when I went to the mall with my sister just to get out of the house. Ever have those days? We weren’t planning on spending any money. While browsing a Lush, this beautiful girl with short curly hair and a septum ring approached us. I am easily susceptible to small talk with sales people and lo and behold I picked up this hot oil treatment called New. It’s an invigorating spicy treatment for your scalp with jojoba and olive oil to hydrate, and cinnamon for the sensation. It turned out to be the best purchase I ever made though!

This treatment comes as a cube on a popsicle stick. The directions say to put the popsicle stick in a mug of boiling water and stir. Then put the pink concoction on your scalp massaging it and leaving it on for twenty minutes. I used a clarifying sea salt shampoo to wash it out and my hair dried in perfectly coiffed loose waves. All in all, I would give this treatment five stars. You can find it on Lush’s website or in your nearest Lush store.
