Nicki Minaj Pushes Album ‘Queen’ Back

Nicki Minaj took social media by surprise when she went on Instagram Live to tell her fans why she would not be appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (Nicki states it was due to the flu) and she would also state that she has decided to push back her new album Queen to August instead of its original release date, which was June. On her Instagram Live post Nicki Minaj stated “The album itself I think I want to put out on August 10. I want to put out my second single, which I’m really, really excited about, and I want to now start an official countdown,”.  She even said that she would want to invite her fans to preview her album once it’s done. Her decision to change the date was due to her wanting to do things differently for it.

The native New York rapper would then take to twitter to confirm the release of her album Queen, posting ” 8|10|18 #Queen.”

Nick Minaj lets everyone know that her album Queen will be pushed back to August, but how do her fans really feel? With Kanye West, Drake, and more releasing music in June. Fans were excited about a new Nicki album coming and will now have to wait. We can’t wait to see what Nicki has up her sleeve for her album “Queen”.
